PEPPERS Manor House, the 137-year-old retreat in the New South Wales’ Southern Highlands, is back in business after a $4.5 million upgrade.
A modern extension has given the heritage hotel a contemporary touch with the refurbishment adding guest rooms and a new place to eat as well as revamping the reception area, lounges, roads and car parks.
“Our goal has been to create a place for all seasons, a refined country escape that embraces the natural surroundings,” says Peppers Manor House General Manager Jesse Kornoff.
“The guest rooms have retained a 1920’s sensibility enhanced with 21st-century comforts complemented by classic furniture choices.”
Peppers Manor House is a 15-minute drive from Bowral in Sutton Forest with the destination a 90-minute motor from Sydney and a little under two hours from Canberra.
