HONG Kong’s Kerry Hotel is close to opening and taking reservations for stays from April 2017.
The 546-room property, in Kowloon’s waterfront Hung Hom Bay, is described as Hong Kong’s first “five-star urban resort” created to “pamper guests with pure comfort and understated luxury” and each room features floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of the Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong skyline.
The 16-storey tower is perched beside the Hung Hom Promenade – strolling distance from the local ferry wharf – and while it’s 2km from the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry terminal a selection of public transport options including bus, boat and train offer easy connections to the rest of Hong Kong.
Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong will be Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts fourth hotel to open in the territory with the brand launching in Shanghai back in 2011.
