LAOS is shaping up as one of 2018’s hidden holiday gems with travellers now having another option when it comes to booking luxury accommodation.
The AVANI+ Luang Prabang opened on March 1 with the 53-room property located in the heart of the northern city steps from the Mekong River, Royal Palace, and Night Market.
The media release announcing the opening explains the hotel has been created to sit comfortably in a “renowned town which is at the heart of Laotian culture”.
“AVANI+ raises the bar on contemporary French neo-classical architecture that blends into the historic neighbourhood as well as on French colonial-inspired interior design that enhances the modern elegance within,” the PR document says.
“The 53 guest rooms and suites each reflect an intimate open-plan feel with French-styled louvred wooden doors that open to a balcony or terrace overlooking either the pool or a private courtyard.
