THE Dorchester is one of the world’s most famous hotels with this London icon, which opened beside Hyde Park in 1931 and underwent a two year-refurbished that wrapped in 1990, offering a feeling of “timeless glamour” to those lucky enough to occupy a suite.
I stayed in January 2011, occupying a suite that looked across Hyde Park, and indulged in high tea one afternoon which was not only a highlight of my time at the hotel but that visit to London.
