An elegant new hotel in Hong Kong is making the most of its location by the harbour in trendy North Point
HONG Kong Island’s fashionable North Point district is home to the new Hotel VIC with the 671-room property opening for business on July 16.
The twin-tower complex boasts views of the harbour and city skyline with guests enjoying 24-hour access to a gym, rooftop swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms and all rooms promising a rain shower and Nespresso coffee machine.
“A tailor-made app for a smartphone with in-room services, chat and reservation capabilities offers instantaneous service in the palm of every guest’s hand while the hotel’s free lightning-fast wifi provides a slick and uninterrupted experience from day to night,” a hotel media release explains.
“Hotel VIC is the first hotel in Hong Kong to provide a key-card kiosk so guests can access their room key with a QR code sent to the following online check-in before arrival.”
North Point is described as “a definitive Hong Kong neighbourhood brimming with undiscovered fashion, food and culture” with the hotel offers three dining venues including The Farmhouse on the 2nd floor with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the harbour.
